Another Day Another Chad Pennington Injury

MIAMI -- Hard-luck quarterback Chad Pennington tore an anterior cruciate ligament in a pickup basketball game and will undergo surgery next week.
Lets all laugh HAHAHA. I guess this doesn't matter since Chad Pennington wasn't going to be playing in the NFL this upcoming seasons since like every second he somehow gets injured on the most freak plays all the time that lands him on the season ending IR. It is just funny that he gets injured in a fun and entertaining game of pick-up bball. Was he trying to show off his sick dunking ability he problem doesn't have or trying to get the attention of some hot girl in the crowd.

Wooooooooooooo! O'Neal is back not that one guys

You almost forget that Jermaine is on the team since he played a whopping 17 games in early November and December due to a  Leg injury in which caused him to have surgery. Hopefully he can give us a some energy off the bench or help the 1st unit with more toughness down low instead of I'm scared to play defense Kristic. This is the wrong O'Neal we want back but still Jermaine is proven veteran with plenty of experience until we get the Real Superman back SHAQ!

Jacob Tucker will compete in the NCAA dunk contest

After using Youtube to get noticed by the selection committee Jacob Tucker will officially compete in the 2011 NCAA dunk contest April 2. This kid is absolutely sick at dunking he puts some pro's and streetballers to shame that's how nasty he is and he is only 5'11 with a 50"in vertical leap. My money is on him. Can't wait to see what he has in store for the contest.

White Men can dunk!

Who's Ready for the Red Sox

Who else can't wait for April 1st to be here besides me. Let the madness come. 2011 Boston Red Sox Baby woooooooooooooo!

BC's Reggie Jackson to declare for NBA draft

After a week of back and forth thinking Jackson has decided to put his name into the 2011 NBA draft but has decided not to hire an agent at the present to keep his college eligibility for his senior year. After a stellar junior season in which he was named to the All-ACC First team after leading the BC Eagles to a 20-13 season averaging 18.2 points, 4.5 assists and 4.3 rebounds per game. At only 6-3 he is somewhat of a tweener which makes him a perfect candidate for a team looking for a 2 guard who can play both the PG and SG positions. His 7ft wing arm-span for his height makes him a huge entity because his length will give him advantages against other point guards in the NBA. His skills resemble that of Delonte West and Ben Gordan.

Is it just me or do the Celtics suck right now

Ever since the Perk trade the team sucks at both Defense and Offense. We can barely score 80 points on given night and were losing to non-playoff teams to boot. I know we did this last year as well before the playoffs but I have a feeling this won't change this year. I think the team lost its Mojo once we traded Big Perk.At this rate we will be lucky to get out the first round especially to a team who athletic like the 76ers or Knicks. We definitely need both O'Neals back before the playoff starts for some toughness down in the post because Nenad ain't cutting on the defense level.

WE NEED THIS INTENSITY BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NCAA probe awaits UNE hockey program

BIDDEFORD, Maine—The University of New England is being investigated by the NCAA for possible financial aid violations that could result in sanctions against the school's hockey program. The Maine Sunday Telegram said the probe is apparently focusing on whether the Biddeford, Maine, school broke NCAA rules that prohibit Division III athletes from receiving athletic scholarships. The NCAA requires that financial aid for athletes mirror financial aid for the school as a whole.A university administrator said the NCAA is reviewing financial aid reports submitted by the school, and that the review could take several months to complete. An NCAA spokesman said the organization's policy is to refrain from commenting on matters under review.
Its about time this stuff came out after 4 years of made up academic scholarship that were really athletic scholarships. How stupid can you be that you thought this wouldn't be noticed by anyone. The school makes up stupid scholarships every year ever since the hockey program started 4 years ago to let kids attend the college. Your not even suppose to give Div 3 athletes any type of athletic scholarship because everyone is suppose to be a walk on once you get past the Div 2 level of competition.

2011 Final 4 Preview

March Madness seems too mild of a description for the 2011 NCAA Tournament. Not only has there been the unexpected upsets and plenty of buzzer-beaters, but this has been the year of one No. 1 seed after another being bumped off.Pitt first, then Duke. Ohio State, and finally Kansas.

This year's Final Four matchup between Virginia Commonwealth and Butler is the classic David vs. David contest...wait, where are the Goliaths?Oh, yeah that's right, these two teams single handedly got rid of most of them.

As for the UConn Kentucky game both of these teams were not suppose to make it this season as both coaches for making possible runs  for next year with this year being a rebuilding year but someone forgot to tell their players. But when you have two stud point guards anything can be done with UConn's Kemba Walker and Kentuckys Brandon Knight. UConn also has a Lowell kid representing their team as well who isn't to shabby himself in Sophomore Alex Oriakhi.

With all said and done I'm  definitely rooting for UConn to win it all as the lone New England school left in the tournament but It would be great to finally see a small school to finally win it all.

Lowell Pride finally represented in the Final Four!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Butler vs VCU in the Final 4 who saw that coming?

No one saw this matchup coming but I guess hand full of people did according to ESPN's tournament challenge out the 8 million plus entries only people correctly selected Butler and VCU to meet each it other in the final. How the hell do you guess that would happen. If that bracket was just a joke bracket its not joke now since it is reality.

Which ever team wins will have a chance at becoming the national champion . This isn't anything new for Butler who is making a second straight trip to the final four and looking to rebound from its crushing lost to Duke in the finals. I like how VCU is rolling since it began tourny but I see its fun ending to the more the experience and battle tested Butler Bulldogs. VCU will make it a game but I just like how Butler plays as a unit and when the going gets tough Butler becomes instantly unstoppable.

2011 Red Sox Preview

The Red Sox offseason registered on the Richter Scale, and the team hopes the aftershocks reverberate through October. The acquisitions of A-Gone and Crawford make the Sox instant World Series contenders, if not outright favorites. With a number of key players returning from injuries, a couple of starting pitchers seeking bounce-back seasons, and the bullpen remade in a manner more befitting a contender, the Red Sox have but one goal: Win their third championship since 2004. If there’s a downside to the high hopes, it’s that expectations will make anything less than a title feel like failure.

The Red Sox received a mulligan after getting buried in a hailstorm of injuries last year, but this year it’s World Series or bust. On paper, the Red Sox have the best lineup, the best rotation, and maybe even the best bullpen in the American League. Between the insanely athletic Ellsbury and Crawford in the outfield and on the bases, the notoriously clutch Youkilis and Pedroia in the lineup, and the prodigiously powerful Gonzalez and Ortiz, the Red Sox should be a pleasure to watch. They’ll be expected not just to play with style, though, but also to win with it.

KEY OFFSEASON ADDITIONS: Carl Crawford (LF), Adrian Gonzalez (1B), Bobby Jenks (RHP), Dan Wheeler (RHP)

KEY OFFSEASON SUBTRACTIONS: Adrian Beltre (3B), Mike Lowell (1B), Victor Martinez (C)

PROJECTED LINEUP: Jacob Ellsbury (CF), Dustin Pedroia (2B), Carl Crawford (LF), Kevin Youkilis (3B), Adrian Gonzalez (1B), David Ortiz (DH), J.D. Drew (RF), Jarrod Saltalamacchia (C), Marco Scutaro (SS)

PROJECTED ROTATION: Jon Lester (LHP); John Lackey (RHP); Clay Buchholz (RHP); Josh Beckett (RHP); Daisuke Matsuzaka (RHP)

PROJECTED CLOSER: Jonathan Papelbon (RHP)

MANAGER: Terry Francona

Duke got fucked on hard

Jimmer straight ballin

Jimmer definitely needs to teach me how to Jimmer.

1. Rotate the position of the camera a bit and the Jimmer cover is almost identical to the one featuring Kansas State's Rolando Blackman from 29 years ago this week. Note the similar lift, spot on the court and positioning of the ball.

2. Gonzaga's Demetri Goodson (No. 3) looks like he just took an uppercut courtesy Rocky Marciano.

3. Mark Few, hands on hips, visible between Gooson's legs.

4. BYU's Stephen Rogers is in the background (in right about Seth Davis' name) waving his arms in an unmistakable "I'm open! I'm open!" fashion. Yeah, good luck with that, buddy.

This photo has to be one of the greatest ever in sports just in pure aspect of what is happening throughout the context of the photo.

  15. Brad Lidge                   40Saves       3.75ERA(Just in will start season on DL look for another option to start the season with)
Bust: Joe Nathan Twins even though he is coming off tommy john surgery and still considered highly ranked as a closer. He will probably hit some rough patches coming back from the injury which may cause his stats to inflate somewhat higher than they normally have been in the past.

Sleeper: Daniel Bard/ Bobby Jenks Red Sox if Papelbon falters or struggles again the Red Sox have two legitimate replacements who can come in and get the job done effectively as well as strike people out on many occasions. Even if they aren't closing they are viable options if you want to lower your era or gain strikeouts during a given week as well.

  15. Chris Carpenter              17-10       3.25ERA        185K's
  16. Josh Johnson                   14-11      3.10ERA        195K's
  17. Cole Hamels                    17-8        3.12ERA        190K's
  18. Zack Grienke                   12-9        3.30ERA        170K's
  19. Roy Oswalt                      18-8        3.50ERA        160K's
  20. Matt Cain                         15-7       3.20ERA         180K's
  21. Francisco Liriano              16-11      3.40ERA        200K's
  22. Clay Bucholz                    17-8        3.25ERA        150K's
  23. Yovani Gallardo               15-9        3.50ERA        220K's
  24. Max Scherzer                  14-9        3.45ERA        190K's
  25. Chad Billingsly                 15-11      3.55ERA        185K's
Bust: Jaime Garcia Cardinals after having a breakout rookie year last year and in contention for the ROY for the whole year. I feel Jaime will get exposed this year due to the fact no had ever seen him before in the majors which caught many teams off guard. He is a great a pitcher but not to the tune of a sub 3.00era again. He is not a strikeout pitcher so he plays to contact so when that happens bad things can happen in a heartbeat.

Sleeper: Brandon Morrow Blue Jays if this kid can harness his control watchout. He is already a dominating strikeout pitcher as seen last year with a 17K game against the Rays late last year. If everything comes together for this young pitcher he has the potential for 15+wins and over 200K's.

World Famous polar bear Knut suddenly dies @ age 4

BERLIN – Berlin's beloved polar bear Knut, who rose to international stardom as a cuddly cub hand-raised by zookeepers, died suddenly on Saturday, a zoo official said.

Probably the most famous wild life creature of all time suddenly died today at the famous Berlin Zoo. Knut was only 4 years old when he died and was truly a human at heart. He had been raised by humans since the day he was born.

The polar bear rose to global fame after he was rejected by his mother when he was born in captivity on December 5, 2006. The fluffy cub was shown to the public 15 weeks later, and attendance at the zoo has roughly doubled since, officials said.

  11. Ichiro                        5-8hrs           45-50RBI's        325avg     30+SB
  12. Andrew McCutchen  15-20hrs       75-80RBI's        290avg     30+SB
  13. Jacoby Ellsbury          9-12hrs         60-65RBI's       300avg     50+SB
  14. Jason Heyward          25-30hrs        90-95RBI's       277avg
  15. Jose Bautista              25-30hrs        80-85RBI's       265avg
  16. Alex Rios                   22-27hrs         80-85RBI's      280avg     20+SB
  17. Andre Ethier               25-30hrs         90-95RBIs      295avg      10+SB
  18. Hunter Pence              18-24hrs         80-85RBI's      290avg      15+SB
  19. Jay Bruce                    25-28hrs        88-94RBI's      280avg       10+SB
  20. Mike Stanton              30-35hrs         90-100RBI's    265avg
  21. Shane Victorino          15-18hrs         60-65RBI's       285avg      25+SB
  22. BJ Upton                    20-25hrs         70-77RBI's       265avg      35+SB
  23. Corey Hart                 22-27hrs          88-92RBI's       280avg     20+SB
  24. Curtis Granderson      25-28hrs           72-77RBI's       270avg     20+SB
  25. Michael Bourn            1-5hrs               40-45RBI's       270avg     40+SB
Bust: Jose Bautista Blue Jays there is no way he even gonna come close this career year he had last year with 54hrs and 124RBI's. Before last year he had never hit more than 15 homers and best RBI season was only 63. I feel he can somewhat have some production but not to the extent that he did last year. It wouldn't surprise me if he sucks really bad either and hits like 15 homers. Buyer Beware. Bautista is Brady Anderson all over again one year wonder.

Sleeper: Grady Sizemore Indians he has basically missed one full year with a nagging injury in his arm and leg. But he has come into camp fully healthy and looking to show all the doubters wrong that he is finished as a good player. Remember before we got hurt he was selected to 3 straight All Star games and averaged 25 plus home runs and 85 RBI's in a 5 year span. He can also steal bases as well if given the chance. Whoever drafts Grady will definitely be getting a bargain who can clearly light it up when he is healthy.

2011 Fantasy Baseball Preview: Top 10 Shortstops

  1. Hanley Ramirez      28-34hrs       90-100RBI's      315avg        30+SB
  2. Troy Tulowitzki      28-34hrs       105-110RBI's    305avg        10+SB
  3. Jose Reyes             10-15hrs       55-60RBI's        285avg        35+SB
  4. Jimmy Rollins          15-20hrs       70-75RBI's        275avg       30+SB
  5. Derek Jeter            10-15hrs        65-70RBI's        290avg       10+SB
  6. Elvis Andrus            0-5hrs           40-45RBI's        305avg       40+SB
  7. Stephen Drew         15-20hrs       85-88RBI's        285avg        10+SB
  8. Alexei Ramirez        15-20hrs       72-77RBI's        288avg        10+SB
  9. Rafael Furcal           10-15hrs       60-65RBI's        300avg         20+SB
  10. Jhonny Peralta          17-22hrs      80-85RBI's        270avg
Bust: Alex Gonzalez Braves Gonzalez at age 33 for the 2010 season, clearly had what you might consider to be a last final hurrah in the fantasy world. Add in the fact that Gonzalez's midseason move from Toronto to Atlanta did him zero favors in the stat department, and it seems like a no-brainer that Gonzalez could be a complete bust at SS for fantasy baseball teams in 2011.

Sleeper: Jed Lowrie Red Sox Lowrie enters Spring Training behind Marco Scutaro on the Red Sox depth chart as the shortstop position, but I don’t expect him to be there for very long. Scutaro had a career year with Toronto in 2009 but couldn’t carry over quite the same power or on base percentage that he flashed with the Blue Jays. If Lowrie takes the job over relatively early in the season you can expect close to 15 homers during the season if not more with possible 40 plus doubles.

2011 Fantasy Baseball Preview: Top 10 Third Basemen

  1. Evan Longoria          30-35hrs          110-115RBI's          305avg      15SB
  2. Kevin Youkilis          28-32hrs          110-115RBI's          310avg
  3. David Wright            25-30hrs          100-105RBI's          295avg      20SB
  4. Alex Rodriguez         30-35hrs          115-120RBI's          285avg      10SB
  5. Ryan Zimmerman      25-30hrs          100-105RBI's          300avg
  6. Adrian Beltre            20-25hrs           85-90RBI's             290avg
  7. Michael Young         15-18hrs           80-85RBI's             298avg
  8. Casey McGahee       22-25hrs          90-100RBI's            275avg
  9. Aramis Ramirez        18-24hrs           90-95RBI's             275avg
  10. Mark Reynolds         27-32hrs          88-95RBI's              260avg (he strikes out a ton)
Bust:Adrian Beltre Rangers alot of people will pick him because he is coming off a monsterous year and moving to a hitters ballpark. Buyer beware though Beltre has a tendency to only play hard when his contract is up and doesn't really try until it is up. He will probably have a pretty good year but don't look for the kind of numbers he posted last year.

Sleeper: Ian Stewart Rockies if he can cut  down the strikeouts watch out. He has the tools to become a very well rounded hitter if he can harness his stroke he has the capability to be 25 plus home run hitter this year.

  9. Aaron Hill              20-24hrs        70-80RBI's        280avg
  10. Howie Kendrick     10-15hrs        75-80RBI's       300avg
Uggla and Prado are competing who gets to play 2nd base for the Braves either way they will both have elgibility at 2nd and whoever has to move to 3rd with also be fantasy worthy.

Bust: Chase Utley I'm choosing him because I think the injuries have taken a toll on his body as of late and seems to getting worse as he is dealing a with a ailing knee which will limit him. He is most likely going to start the season on the DL losing valuable fantasy time for players.

Sleeper:Sean Rodriguez Tampa Bay finally getting a crack at the everyday starting job with Tampa after being the super utility guy last year. Look for a decent but not super year out of him but has alot of potential.

Mark Wahlberg wants to make Fighter Sequel

According to multiple sources Marky Mark himself has pitched the idea to producers for a possible sequel to the award winning movie based on "Irish" Micky Ward. The sequel would be based on Wards 3 epic fights with the late Arturo Gatti and possibly other fights leading up to the trilogy. I wouldn't mind a sequel but if this turns out to be a Rocky franchise it would ruin the whole theme of the movie which was overcoming adversity.

  10. Kendry Morales   25-35hrs      90-110RBI's    292avg (Coming back from broken leg/ankle)
Bust: Paul Kornerko White Sox don't get down on this bust prediction Kornerko will probably have decent year but not like he did last year and plus he just turned 35. He is also notorious for having sub par years after having MVP caliber years in the past.

Sleeper: Kila Ka'aihue Royals this 27 year minor league veteran finally gets a crack at the starting job finally after monster seasons in AAA. He has raw power and ready to break out to show the potential scouts have been drooling about for years. Look for around 23-28hrs and 80plus RBI's with somewhat low average though around the 250's 260's. He will be a nice fill in if injuries occur to your primary 1st baseman.

Sid the Kid might be forced to retire

Crosby who is only 23 hasn't played in over two months with post concussion symptoms and rumor has it his family members are convincing him to step away from the game. I have to agree with them he has nothing to prove anymore he already has a Stanley Cup and a gold medal from the Olympics with the game winning shot. Crosby is a heck of a player but he is never gonna break any of the records that Gretsky or any player came before him he's not that type of player. Crosby recently put these rumors away just literally few hours ago as he is tempted to player in the next few weeks and be ready for the playoffs. I guess we will see if this comes true.

Red Sox open to trading players

The Red Sox are fielding offers for 5 players currently for potential trades before the season starts in a couple weeks. The list includes Dice K, Mike Cameron, Darnell McDonald, Marco Scutaro, and even possibly Timmy Wakes. It is unsure what the team would want for these players all I can guess is possibly some high end prospects or valuable bench players. If we do make a trade hopefully we trade Dice K to rid ourselves with his horrible production the last 2 years. I feel if Scutaro is traded;  Jed can certainly fill the role with ease he has the potential for 15-20hrs and 40 plus doubles if he can finally stay healthy.

PS:There has been some rumblings the Mets are in some talks with teams for trading SS Jose Reyes and the Sox are one of the teams.

Let the season begin already!

Texas HS Baseball team gets absolutely murdered in game

As reported in the Dallas Morning News -- and by the victorious team itself on its own website -- the Lake Highlands (Texas) High baseball team cruised to one of history's most merciless mercy-rule games, topping Samuell (Texas) High by an official final score of 54-0.We say "official final score" because the two different coaches had differing opines on precisely how many times Lake Highlands had scored, with Wildcats coach Jay Higgins claiming that his team scored 57 runs, and Samuell coach Mike Peña claiming the final score was 53-0.

How the fuck is their not a mercy rule for this shit. How the fuck do you give up that many runs and not freaking score at all. I would hate to go back to school and show my face around there again after getting shit on that bad. Luckily this Samuell High School has a rematch next month. Maybe that score will be 100 to nothing this time.

PS: Here is the projected line Samuell  HS +55 because they will probably need it!

The Heatles to disband after the season?

Rumor has it that one of the Miami Big 3 could be traded in off-season if the team does not win a championship this season. Many people around the league feel the 3 stars are to much of the same player with no go to guy. I said this from the beginning this team would never work because they all the need the ball in their hands to much to be viable team against good teams. The one person Miami will not trade is Wade since he is their franchise. So that leaves James or Bosh.

Should it be the alleged crier himself Chris Bosh who has been upset with his role all year. Or should be it the King himself Mr. James the most hated player in the NBA right now. If I was Pat Riley I would first look to trade LeBron since he would probably get the best package but Bosh is more likely to go since fans and teammates have become tired of his act.

No matter who it is, the NBA will be better off once it has rid itself of the farce that is the current "Three Stooges" of the league, the Miami "Heatles".
Your Fired!!!!!!!Bosh

Tiki Barber to unretire and play in 2011?

NEW YORK -- Tiki Barber has alerted the NFL that he plans to come out of retirement and play in the 2011 season, sources close to the former New York Giants running back said Tuesday.
No wonder he wants to come back after 5 years of not playing he was probably the worst sideline reporter of all time. I don't know who will want a 35 going on 36 year old running back even though he might be fresh. Tiki must need the money or something because there is no good reason for him to come back to play now if it wasn't all about the benjamins.

Heat Players are babies wahhhhhhhhh!

According to multiple sources several players began to emotionally cry after their latest today to the Bulls losing at the buzzer as Lebron and Dwayne both missed potential winning and tying shots. WAHHHHHHH no wonder the Heat fucking suck first off they can't beat good teams they have 1 win the whole year to the top 5 teams in the league. Secondly they have the worst bench of all time they have like one legitiment force if you want to call him that in Mike Miller. Lastly, they have Lebron who can't win shit so no wonder they were crying because they know now they can't win the title since they have no shot James in clutch situations.

PS: The Heat are probably really crying because the Celtics just got Carlos Arroyo for nothing since the Heat released him for like no reason after starting almost every single game as their PG even though they signed Mike Bibby.

This gameshow contestant is a crazy sex freak I guess

Who says cumshots on a gameshow that is suppose to be a family program. Dude if your wanna fuck someone just say it on the show instead of giving hints that you want to bang someone.

BYU Forward was dismissed from team for having sex with Girlfriend

Leading rebounder and second best player on the team Brandon Davies was kicked off the team because he had sex with his girlfriend in direct violation of the schools honor code. Wow I didn't know BYU was that strict on the no sex policy and what not being kicked off the team for that is stupid when considering there are worse things in the world that he could of done. I know BYU is a Mormon school but still for being caught one time for doing this and being kicked off the team at least suspend him for a game or two to teach him a lesson but the rest of the year and maybe next year too. Your team is the third best in the country and legit  final four contender.

Who is the Real Papa John?

I always thought Papa John was a famous Pizza Maker but was I way off on that estimation. This fable creature comes out of hibernation every 20 years to make one lucky lady dreams come true. Not many people know this creature but for the people who do know his potency of seducing college ladies into the love chamber for extra-curricular activities.I can not offer anymore information than this except for he wants your shit and he wants it now until he goes back to hibernation for another 20 years.

PS: The sex'a you can have but the secret she's a-mine.

Pats sign Marcus Stroud

Today the Pats signed the veteran DT/DE  to a two year deal. I kinda have some criticism to this deal. First hasn't been good since like 2007 when he was with the Jaguars after he got caught using banned substances. Secondly he was cut by the Bills this last week because he didn't fit in a 3-4 scheme very well so unless Bill can get him on track again I kinda see this signing as a bust waiting to happen .Hopefully Stroud proves me wrong if there is a season this year to the extent what Gerard Warren did with the Patriots this past season.
