Late last night Pedro announced he would be open to coming back with any team but prefers the Red Sox. I don't know how much he could help but are pitching can't get any worse than it is already. If I had to guess he probably does have the urge to play again but I feel it is just a ploy for him to get his number retired with the Sox since the team has a strict policy of retiring numbers that you have to finish your career with the Red Sox to have your number retired. All in all I would definitely love to see PD out on the mound for us again. I don't think it would happen unless the Sox somehow need the pitchers.
