2011 NFL Draft Preview TE's

  1. Kyle Rudolph Notre Dame- The 6-6 tight end out of Notre Dame has been considered the best draft eligible tight end in this class for a long time, despite just being a junior. However, he struggled through the first six games of the season with a hamstring injury and caught just 28 passes for 328 yards and three touchdowns.
  2. D.J Williams Arkansas- One of Mallets favorite go to targets.Williams lacks the size to be an every-down contributor in the NFL. But he's a tenacious blocker who should stick as an H-back.He can be this version of Aaron Hernandez.
Who is the ideal Patriot given draft projections?
    1. Andre Smith Virgina Tech- The Pats don't really need a TE in this years draft but if they want a younger blocker type to maybe replace Alge Crumpler , Andre Smith is your man at 6-6 270.

There are no real good sleepers for this year in the TE class . This is somewhat weak year for the TE group but you never know someone could blossom and be the next Tong G or Shannon Sharpe possibly.
Tune in next time for OL previews.
