Andover wrestling coach charged with child porn

North Andover High School wrestling coach David Castricone was charged with possession of child pornography Tuesday, according to multiple media reports.
He was arrested Monday at his Sutton roofing business and arraigned in Lawrence District Court.
According to The Associated Press, police said they received a tip last week that prompted a search of the 60-year-old Castricone's home.
The search uncovered images of both child and adult pornography, including pictures of women who appear to be unaware they were being photographed, The Lawrence Eagle-Tribune reported, citing court records.
According to the records, Castricone was caught on camera going into the girls' locker room at North Andover High at least nine times recently, once leaving with a device that had an LED screen. A female student had reported a man in the locker room with his hands in a locker, which had holes in it, according to the newspaper, leading to a review of the surveillance footage.
"The holes in the locker door were large enough that a device would be able to record through them," investigators wrote, according to the newspaper.
Castricone posted $1,500 bond and was released Tuesday.
Castricone has coached wrestling in Massachusetts for 38 years, but he resigned after his arrest. He had been at North Andover for 25 years, had an overall record of 681-142-3 and two state championships.
A pre-trial conference is scheduled for March 30.  ESPN Boston
