It has been reported that former BC Alum DE Mathias Kiwanuka who is impending free agent this season once the CBA is worked out has been in talks to join the Patriots if his medical records check off. There are signs that his career might be in jeopardy from a herniated disk in his neck but two doctors have given him the ability to continue playing at his own choice.I think if given clearance by Patriots doctors this would be a great signing for us since we are in desperate need of some sort of pass rush coming off the edge and Kiwi does that either at the DE or OLB spots. I not saying he should be every-down player with this sort of injury risk but maybe on pass downs and or 3rd downs he would be beneficial to have to pressure the QB. His stats are a little bit deceiving since he comes in mostly in sub packages when he is fully healthy with the Giants but when he is given the chance to play more his play does the talking and hopefully this lead him to a New England homecoming after playing 4 great years at BC.
