There has been speculation ever since Moss was traded that the Patriots did this on purpose because they knew his stats would diminish and he wouldn't cost the Patriots as much. I honestly don't see this happening granted Moss is a vertical threat we didn't have after he left, Tate is decent player but he isn't Randy. If the Pats need a vertical to keep the defense honest it be money well spent to go after someone to the caliber of James Jones and Steve Breaston who are proven commodities who can spread the field or we could go look for someone in the draft to the caliber of Jon Baldwin of Pitt, Julio Jones of Bama or a sleeper in Courtney Smith of South Alabama who has been compared to Marques Colston but faster. I guess we'll find out soon once the collective bargaining agreement is finally resolved if ever. Straight Cash Homie
