Do the NFL owners really need another Billion Dollars?

Do the NFL owners really need more money? The NFL is probably the most popular sport in the USA taking over from the MLB in recent years in terms of viewership. If a lockout is about to happen and it looks like it will with the rate it is going with neither side being able to workout the result would be castastrohic.

The owners are claiming that they need an extra billion dollars to make it worthwhile to invest in the upkeep of the stadiums and other facilities. The players say they are more than willing to help make those investments, but, like all investors, they want a cut of the returns and they want to see the owners' books to verify their claims of impoverishment.

If a billion dollars is the only problem holding this back I have it in my backyard growing on a tree let me go it for you guys.

Are you fuckin kidding me you need a billion dollars for stadiums and facilities now what have been using to pay for them til now illegal selling of drugs or something. Also 18 game schedule would be good for fantasy leagues it would hurt in the long more injuries but I kinda like NFL agent Tom Condons idea of using your backup QB and have to make two starts. This would be a cool concept if they were to go to a 18 game schedule. In a serious note if all that is holding up this contract of a new collective bargaining contract is the billion dollars the owners need in a stadium up keep that is total BS. Hope the players and owners come to a agreement so we don't have to 2 years without football because there will be many suicide watches going on in the US if that were happen because NFL to some people is like sex and without it you can't live.
